  • processing job applications, in partnership with our clients, on whose behalf we are instructed to advertise job vacancies – this means that if you apply for a specific job, we may pass your details on  to the relevant client to proceed with the application and you understand that this means you may receive further direct correspondence from them;
  • allowing our clients, to understand who is making use of the Site and how their job vacancies are being viewed;
  • for equality monitoring purposes, to understand the diversity of our applicant pool (as stated above, this information is anonymised and aggregated);
  • with candidates’ permission Daniels Smalley may contact candidates directly and confidentially about other potentially suitable opportunities that may be relevant in the future.

Keeping information secure

We do not share personal data with any third parties or agencies. We invest significant resources to protect your personal information, from loss, misuse, unauthorised access, modification or disclosure. The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) meant changes for business to business (B2B) organisations to be fully compliant with the new rules from May 2018.

When emailing or texting employees of corporate companies for marketing communications Daniels Smalley will ensure that simple and clear opt-out instructions are provided with the message.

Daniels Smalley will ensure that the communications are relevant to the products or services of the business, and that they are relevant to the recipient’s job role.

If requested, Daniels Smalley will be able to demonstrate to individuals how their data is stored in an easily accessible electronic format.

We have a dedicated Information Officer, who will oversee and if necessary, report any kind of event to the Information Commissioner’s Office.

Daniels Smalley Partnership Ltd OFF-LIMITS Policy

As an executive search consultancy, we look to continually strengthen our relationships with our clients and serve them on an on-going and long-lasting basis.

We know that during an executive recruitment project we have a high degree of access and knowledge of company information, its plans and professionals, especially regarding the position for which we are recruiting.

Therefore, Daniels Smalley does not include executives from active clients in other executive recruitment projects, except when expressly authorised by the client. Also, candidates recruited by Daniels Smalley and hired by an active client are considered off limits by our company.

The Off-Limits policy described above, for reasons of candidate confidentiality, cannot be applied to candidates that may have already been included in a recruiting process at Daniels Smalley prior to Daniels Smalley being retained by the client.
